Gene and Vicky Allen are retired and devote their time to raising quality Akitas. We are very proud of our line and all of our dogs have great personalities and temperaments. They love attention.
We have been raising Akitas since 1985. Gene got acquainted with them when he was in the Army in Korea and went on R & R to Japan. He got to see the Hatchi statue. We finally had a chance to purchase one and we've had them ever since. Akitas are the only dog we raise.
We are a small breeder. We only have 4 females and 4 males. We have 3 bloodlines. We've never had any problems with genetic issues.
We are state inspected and have a certificate of excellence from AKC testifying to our handling and care of our dogs. Our dogs are our kids and are very important to us.
Our dogs have at least 1.8 of an acre to run on. There is plenty of shade for hot Summer months and good warm bedding for Winter months. Although when we have snow we may see them sleeping on top of their houses. They always have a fresh supply of water. Food is always available to them.

Well Well, This little girl thought for sure she'd found her forever home and planned to go to it tomorrow, but life happens and she isn't going after all. No one can predict the future.
So this girl was originally know as Ellie's # 2 girl. Now she's just Ellie's girl.
She is 8 weeks old now. She is ready to go. It would be much better to pick her up because she's getting pretty hefty.
If you may be interested please let me know. If you missed out on one earlier now is your chance to get a great little American Akita. She is a great representative of the breed.
She loves to play and is very friendly.
